Details:

A pilot holding a Pilot (PG4) Licence with 10+ years of experience whist flying at Lantau at approximately 15-1700hrs on Sunday 13th of August 2017.

The conditions at the time were reported to be Strong Lift with a SW wind blowing approximately 21-25kph. The temperature was 30-34deg C with A Little Cloud and Unlimited Visibility.

There were reported to be 11-15 pilots at the site.

Event Description:

Pilot got overly exited due to superb conditions and forgot to observe the height limitation (2.000 ft) for this site, climbing up to the top of Sunset Peak.
