Details:

A pilot holding a Novice (PG2) Licence with 2-3 years of experience whist flying at Ma On Shan at approximately 12-1400hrs on Monday 6th of February 2017.

The conditions at the time were reported to be Gusting with a E wind blowing approximately 26-30kph. The temperature was 15-19deg C with Some Cloud and Slight Haze Visibility.

There were reported to be 2-5 pilots at the site.

Event Description:

Pilot attempted a strong wind reverse launch. Pilot applied brakes and was lifted with twists. Pilot fell to the ground and was dragged several meters. A GFS helicopter transported the pilot to hospital. Pilot suffered lower limb soft tissue injuries.
